The Hotel Alex in Venice is one of the best value hotels weve come across, and weve seen a few.
Located minutes from the Scuola Grande di San Rocco this is the perfect hotel if youre traveling on a budget but dont really want to go to a hostel. The palazzo dates back to the 14th Century and its a charming and cozy hotel. There are 11 rooms in total, some with en-suite bathroom and others without, the choice is yours. However, all the rooms we saw are bright and airy.
