HOTEL LA CALCINA REVIEW

Located on the Giudecca canal, the Hotel La Calcina offers great views at affordable prices. We found the location to be near perfect. Great for those people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas and sample the life of the Venetians. There's also a water taxi that will take straight to San Marco only 1 minute away from the hotel. The hotel has 29 smallish but well furnished and spotlessly clean rooms. They all come with bathroom, air-conditioning, telephone and a safe. There's also a great restaurant if you don't fancy walking too far after a hard days sight seeing.
