Accommodation Review: We stayed in Venice's Hotel Locanda Herion and gave this hotel full marks. Our hotel room was a great size, spotlessly clean and well-kept. Memories of having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hotel courtyard will stay with us for a long time. The staff were really friendly and always gave us good tips for local Venice restaurants.

Our hotel reservation cost 70 euros for a double room and for this 3 star hotel that was fantastic value. We did have to share a bathroom but it was truly all'right.
