It is said to be the largest skiable area in the world let alone the French Alps: 200 lifts and 600kms of pistes. Nearest Airport to Les Trois Vallees is Geneva [160km away] and you can get rent-a-car or get to Moutiers [30kms away] by train. Courchevel consists of 4 villages situated at different elevations [1,300, 1,550, 1,650 and 1,850 meters]. We stayed in Courchevel 1850 which is the more “upmarket classy” resort. We also visited two smaller resorts in Les 3 Vallees: Pralognan la Vanoise and Champagny-en-Vanoise.
