Berlin’s got a reputation for good value hotels which is why some of you can get to stay in hotels like the Swissotel in Berlin for as little as 100 euros. Inspecting this hotel was a real treat as we were given 5 star service including a complementary drink at the hotel bar…boy was it needed.

This is one of the nicest accommodation we’ve investigated and it’s well worth that little extra. The rooms we saw were maticiously clean and luxurious and many overlook the Ku’damm, which is a fantastic experience as the windows stretch from floor to ceiling.

There are 316 well appointed rooms all with state-of-the-art technology and 5 star amenities. If you can manage to haul yourself off the great beds, there’s a fitness centre and spa to keep you occupied and a great cocktail bar to soak up that 5 star ambience.

Bear in mind that this is a business style hotel so anyone looking for character you’re not going to find it here. What you do get is excellent service, great amenities and the chance to stay in one of the worlds top hotels without having to pay too much for the experience.
