The Hotel Alameda is between Berlin's Kreuzberg, the Hackesche Höfe and Prenzlauer Berg. We had a 3 night reservation and used the hotel as a base to scout others and take in Berlin' sights. It's a top-floor conversion and our hotel room was great. Not cramped for a roof conversion and being on the top floor we had loads of light. All the hotel's 17 rooms come with en-suite, cable TV, telephone and internet access. Some have their own small balcony with great views but unfortunately ours didn't.

Our hotel reservation for this Berlin accommodation cost us 80 euros and considering the location, this was a great deal.
