Amsterdam's Hotel De Korenaer is a typical Dutch hotel centrally located on Damrak, Amsterdam's main avenue. We dropped by late afternoon on our travels and were pleased with what we saw. It's a two star accommodation and to be honest the rooms are slightly small but the ones we saw were spotlessly clean. There are 30 rooms to choose from and all come with en-suite bathroom & shower, cable TV, telephone and a hairdryer. It's got a nice feel to it and it's great for those weekend breaks when you don't plan to be in the hotel too long.
