HOTEL CAPO SAN VITO Review

Our first port of call after we had dumped our bags [ we do work you know ] was to pay a sneaky visit to the main hotel in the area, Hotel Capo San Vito. With only 35 rooms it's small hotel but is one of the largest in the area. The rooms we saw were fantastic but maybe it's the view that is making us a little bias, we could be living in a small shack and still be happy to be there. The hotel is right on the beach but being a small village it's still in the centre. Not surprisingly for Italy, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants so finding somewhere to eat outside of the hotel restaurant is not going to be hard, it's just managing to do it!

We eat here one evening on the terrace and had one of the best meals in Sicily. It's a magical place and you definitely shouldn't come here alone.

The terrace and pool has been built around an ancient Greek theatre and there are views of Etna’s misty peak in the distance. In a word - a dream.
