Hotel Mediterraneo Review

The Hotel Mediterraneo is a charming hotel right in the heart of Syracuse. Walking distance from the train station and to the island of Ortiega as well as the archaeological park, the location is pretty perfect.

Many of the well decorated rooms have fantastic a sea view as well as a lovely balcony and all come with en-suite bathroom and the normal amenities of a 3* hotel. What really did take us back was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The Sicilians are known for their kindness but the staff at the Mediterraneo took it one step further. When we come back to Sicily we'll definitely be staying here.
