Hotel del Corso Review

We had read some bad press about the Hotel del Corso and thankfully we didn't believe any of it as it might have influenced us stopping at this wonderful Taormina hotel. It's located right in the centre of Taormina on the famous street Corso Umberto. Taormina is certainly the party town of Sicily so if you want peace and quiet all the time, then considering the location, this hotel wouldn't be for you. We would however recommend going for one of the rooms at the back though as they don't get the noise from the street.

Many of the well-decorated rooms overlook either a lovely garden or the sea and provide a charm that you can't get in other places. All of them come with en-suite, air-conditioning, safe, mini bar and telephone. The ones we saw were slightly on the small size but Italian hotel rooms generally are. They were clean, comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped and spotless. All in all we would recommend the Hotel del Corso as a fun place to stay while in Taormina.
