Set high up within Montmartre on the Place d'Anvers, the Hotel Du Square d'Anvers is great for those people that want a romantic stay without having to pay through the nose for it. Not that you’re a cheapskate but with breathtaking views and minutes from Sacre Coeur, this Paris hotel is a real jaw-dropping bargain.

There are 28 rooms in this turn of the century hotel and come equipped en-suite bathroom, hair dryer, satellite TV and telephone. The rooms are fine and clean but it’s the view that will really wins you over so try to get a room as high at the front as possible. The Place d'Anvers is a large, leafy square that protecting you from the outside of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Overall it’s one of those hotels you’ll be loathe to leave.
