You can't helped but be impressed with the location of the Des Canettes. With only 5 minutes walk to either the Seine and the Musée d'Orsay with it’s boutiques, antique dealers, restaurants and cafes, you’ll have to be really motivated to get yourself out of this area.

The hotel isn't bad either. The rooms we saw are clean, standard Paris size and furnished with wood and all come with TV, ensuite bathroom, telephone and a safe. Bear in mind that this hotel is situated on a busy street with many bars that open til late. It's not a hotel for those who want to be in bed by 10pm.
