HOTEL DE VENDOME REVIEW

If you want to impress your loved one then the Hotel De Vendôme in Paris is for you. Situated in the beautiful Place Vendôme, it’s a small hotel so it’s romantic and intimate and provides unrivalled service [we were told by some of the guests]. We were also told by the hotel manager that Jules Hardouin-Mansart who was the architect for Louis XIV built it in 1723 and judging by the overall decadence of the place, they really knew what they were doing in this rich period of art and culture.

There is a danger of never leaving the place and was of course is THE only reason we didn’t stay there and not the hefty 460 euros a night [ who said luxury was cheap? ] . All the rooms are tastefully decorated and come with the latest technology including ADSL connection, satellite TV and en-suite marble bathrooms…don’t you just love a bit of marble.
