The Rex: [5, bd Poissonnière 01 42-36-83-98] The kingdom of Laurent Garnier and built within a cinema, The Rex has been pumping out house and techno for years. A friendly local crowd come to here to experience a host of top DJ's and a fantastic sound system way into the early hours. Friday night's Automatik event, is a great even but be prepared to wait outside for a while. [Metro: Bonne-Nouvelle] [Wed-Sat 23:30 - 06.00]

Le Queen: [239 rue St-Honore 01 4244 5000] Gay and pround of it, Le Queen is one of Paris's top places to hang out and be seen. For those looking for something more hetrosexual, this Paris club has recently opened it's doors to people of all sexual persuasion. Yes there are hoards of gay men, along with celebrities but you'll regret that you didn't experience the delights of this place. There are regular drag and strip shows and be prepared for crowds. Le Divan du Monde: [75, rue des Martyrs 01 4492 7766] Set in Montmartre, this club is popular with a young hip crowd. You'll find many local bands playing here and there's a mix of rock to jazz. A great place to experience the true Paris. [Metro: Pigalle. [Open daily from midnight until dawn]
Batofar: [11, quai Francois Mauriac 01 5629 1033] Set on a barge moored on the Seine, Sailors will love this club. You can rock to the waves while rocking to trance, house, and techno tunes spun by world-famous DJs. This club is busy especially at the weekend but the bars take care that you keep refreshed and full of energy. [Metro: Quai de la Gare] [Open Tue-Sat 18.00 - 03.00]
Le Sunset Jazz Club: [60, rue des Lombards 01 4026 4660] Le Sunset is a jazz club with a twist. Here you'll find a progressive variation on classic jazz, highlighting world music artists. It's a jazz club with an intimate feel to it that makes you think of those clubs in the 60's and 70's. Miles Davis would feel at home here. [Metro: Le Louvre] [Open Mon - Sun 22.00 - 03.00]
