Rome's Hotel Farnese used to be an aristocratic residence and dates back to 1906. We had a reservation for one night here and was thoroughly impressed with the service, our room and the hotel in general. It's located in the district of Prati and sits between the Vatican City and the historical centre of Rome.

Our hotel room was large, bright, elegantly decorated with hand-made walnut furniture and wood-panelling and equipped with everything you'd expect from a 4 star hotel.

Our hotel reservation was great value and the views from the rooftop garden across St. Peters Dome were fantastic.
