A
Roman institution and anyone who’s anyone tries out some of the 100’s
of Gellateries that seem to be on every street corner. But which is
the best?
Delle Palma: [Via della Maddalena 20, Pantheon] Kids particularly love this famous Roman Gelateria for it's unique flavors such as merangue and around 20 different varieties of chocolate, there is also a huge variety of sweets sold by weight.
Giolitti: [V. Uffici del Vicario 40, Pantheon] Many say it's the best gelato in Rome -- go try it and decide for yourself, interesting flavours such as fig and marrons glacé. It's a Roman institution and used to deliver the marrons glace flavored gelato to Pope John Paul II.
Gelatia Sant Eustachio: [Piazza S Eustachio 47, Pantheon] Right opposite Cafe Eustachio is a gelateria with a large range of soya gelato, plus their regular gelato is very very good.
