Accommodation Review: We stayed our final two nights in this area of Florence at the Hotel Centro and were completely taken back by the rooms, the staff and overall ambience of this place. Why hadn't we found it before?

We made our reservation on the internet and got a complementary bottle of wine waiting for us. The room we was spacious but without a bathroom but you can get rooms with en-suite. It didn't really matter as we never had to queue that long to use it.

The hotel is run by very friendly and attentive people and they couldn't do enough to help us. Our room reservation was 90 euros for the night but we were there on the back of their high season.
