HOTEL II PERSEO
The Hotel Il Perso is a wonderful place to stay in Florence if you're travelling on a budget. That's not to say that this place is shabby, on the contrary, the owners Louise and her husband Giacinto have done a fantastic job with this hotel even to the point of putting Giacinto's own artwork along some of the walls [ it's not bad either ]. Positioned high up on the road you get wonderful views across the rooftops of Florence from most of the rooms.
If you have time to relax, there's also a very nice bar where you'll find that after a few glasses of Chianti you soon get to know everyone that's staying there.
