HOTEL REGENCIA COLON REVIEW

The Hotel Regencia Colón is the little brother [ or sister ? ] of Hotel Colón that we reviewed in this same section. We’re not in the habit of recommending hotel chains for the sake of it but we felt on this occasion it warrented inclusion.

We had a reservation for 2 nights at Barcelona's Hotel Regencia Colón and used it as a base to scout the rest of the hotels in the area. It’s perfectly located in the Gothic Quarter, being close to the cathedral and walking distance to Las Ramblas. Our reservation cost us 96 euros for a standard double for the night and we think this is an excellent hotel that offers high class service at an economical price.

All of the hotels 55 clean and spacious rooms are equipped with air conditioning, music, TV and minibar and we thought the service from all the staff to be of the highest quality.
