Only a short walk to Placa Espanya, the Hotel Fira Palace is a Hotel Enthusiast favourite in Montjuic. With modern design [recently renovated], large rooms [276], well-equipped [swimming pool, gym, business centre], great restaurants and good value [from 85 euros] you can see why this features high on our list of good hotels.

We had a grand tour around some of the standard doubles and the quality was so good, I'd love to see what the deluxe are like. Large, comfortable and nicely designed, each room is more like a suite. Many of the rooms have two showers, Just in case you didn't wash properly the first time and if you have an argument with your loved one, be comforted that there's also a large sofa to sleep on.
