The Hotel HCC Taber was built within a building of the Modernist period designed by the architect Domčnech i Montaner. If you’re looking for a standard hotel that’s not luxurious but clean, basic and suitable as a base to explore the city then you couldn’t go wrong in choosing the Taber. We had a night’s reservation here and even though our room was on the small size, it was clean, tidy and comfortable. The service we received was fantastic which for us really made our stay here enjoyable. The desk clerk had loads of advice on where to go, what to eat and how to get there. Due to his advise we found one of the best tapa bars in Barcelona only 5 minutes away, which deserves a mention in itself. If you want to find out where it is, you’ll just have to go there yourself and ask!
